Over the last 24 hours, 2,582 people have been diagnosed with Covid-19 in Ukraine. This was reported by the Ministry of Health.

"On September 10 (as of 9:00), there were 145,612 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19, 3,023 of which were fatal, 65,877 patients recovered. 2,582 new cases have been observed over the last 24 hours. A total of 1,778,483 PCR tests were performed. 1,174 patients managed to recover during September 9," the statement said.

Most of the cases were observed in Lviv region (16,452), Kyiv - (16,119), and Kharkiv region - 11,832.

As we reported earlier, as of now, Ukraine's mortality rate from coronavirus is 2.1%, which is one of the lowest ones in Europe. This was announced by the country's Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov.

According to Stepanov, the mortality rate from Covid-19 has decreased by 30% since April.

"If we look at the overall mortality rate from coronavirus in Ukraine, we have something to be proud of. We have one of the lowest percentages in Europe, 2.1% is the current mortality rate in our country," the official said.
