Over the past 24hrs, 2,394 people have contracted coronavirus in Ukraine. This was announced by Health Minister Maksym Stepanov on his Facebook page.

833 people were hospitalized during the last day, 156 people succumbed to the disease, 11,457 people managed to overcome it, 31,620 tests were performed (PCR - 16,589, ELISA - 15,031).

1,223,879 people have fallen ill since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine; 1,035,372 of them have recovered, 22,924 - have died.

As we reported earlier, some regions of Ukraine might mitigate the restrictions to the levels of the ‘yellow’ or ‘green’ zone.

“The analysis shows that there are some regions where the quarantine events might be mitigated to the level that corresponds to ‘yellow’ and ‘green’ zones,” Prime Minister Denys Shmygal said.

According to him, the possibility of the transition to the adaptive quarantine is considered as well.
