CovidUkraine: 2,082 new cases over last 24hrs

Over the last 24 hours, Ukrainian doctors confirmed 2,082 new cases of Covid-19, including 108 children and 35 healthcare workers. Coronavirus_Info Telegram channel reports it.

708 people have been taken to hospitals during this period; 54 patients deceased and 1,025 recovered. 58,135 tests have been taken.

Most of the confirmed cases have been observed in Kyiv city (266), Lviv (189), Kharkiv (187), Donetsk (157) regions.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 2,282,285 people have contracted the disease, 2,205,707 have overcome it, 53,686 have succumbed to it.

Meanwhile, Chief Sanitary Doctor of Ukraine Ihor Kuzin told where Ukrainians are most often infected with coronavirus. 

"In general, there are three places where people are most often infected with coronavirus: this is the family, when they celebrate the wedding, or some big home holidays without observing the rules; these are professional teams; infection abroad," Kuzin said.

According to him, the risk of infection in an open space is much less than in a closed one.
