13,371 new cases of coronavirus infection have been observed in Ukraine over the last 24 hours. This was reported by Coronavirus_info.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 858,714 people have gotten infected with Covid-19 in Ukraine: 465,021 (+13,903) have recovered, and 14,470 (+266) have succumbed to the disease.

The largest numbers of confirmed cases have been registered in the city of Kyiv (1,899), Zaporizhia (1,060), Dnipropetrovsk (835), Cherkasy (721), and Kharkiv (719) regions.

As we reported earlier, Health Minister Maksym Stepanov stated that the situation with the spread of coronavirus disease in Ukraine had stabilized.

"If we compare the recent weekly statistics, we'll see the decreasing number of the sick, and the reducing number of people admitted at hospitals," he noted.

According to him, the number of conducted tests has reduced because the incidence rate has dropped.

"Currently, we run tests with people who have symptoms of coronavirus disease or end up at the hospital with pneumonia. I mean the PCR testing. So, when the number of appeals of people with symptoms of a respiratory disease drops, so does the number of tests," the official added.
