As we reported earlier, the World Health Organization (WHO) has issued a conditional recommendation against the use of Remdesivir in hospitalized patients, regardless of disease severity, as there is currently no evidence that remdesivir improves survival and other outcomes in these patients.

"The evidence suggested no important effect on mortality, need for mechanical ventilation, time to clinical improvement, and other patient-important outcomes," the WHO stressed.

Also, healthcare Minister Maksym Stepanov spoke about the condition under which a full lockdown can be introduced in Ukraine.

According to him, this can happen if the number of daily recorded Covid-19 cases exceeds 30,000.
