5,052 people have been taken to hospitals during this period; 203 patients deceased, and 3,343 recovered. 76,335 tests have been taken.
Most of the confirmed cases have been observed in Kharkiv (1,150), Dnipropetrovsk (1,083), Lviv (905), Donetsk (841) and Zhytomyr (791) regions.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 1,644,063 people have contracted the disease, 1,300,625 have overcome it, 31,954 - have succumbed to it.
Meanwhile, Ukraine lags behind the Covid-19 vaccination plan and organizational issues - one of the reasons. This was announced by the Minister of Health of Ukraine Maksym Stepanov in an interview with Radio Svoboda.
"We are almost two times behind, a little less, 1.8 times behind the plan that we have outlined," Stepanov said.
According to him, the vaccination process was not properly organized for a number of organizational reasons: somewhere "they did not have time", in another place "there were no volunteers", "they decided to postpone the opening of the vaccination point" or "did not get through to people aged 80+ who would come to get vaccinated" or "the system failed - they could not ship the vaccine."
