In Ukraine, 10,811 new cases of coronavirus infection have been reported over the last 24 hours. Health Minister Maksym Stepanov wrote about this on his Facebook page.

It is worth noting that the number of recovered is at 12,860 people.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 832,758 people have been infected with Covid-19 in the country: 436,564 of them have recovered, and 13,928 (+195 per day) have succumbed to the disease.

Over the past 24hrs, the largest numbers of confirmed cases have been confirmed in Kyiv (1,475), Odesa (1,043), Zaporizhia (948), Poltava (916), and Cherkasy (746) regions.

As we reported earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky states that the country must be prepared for mass vaccination of the population against coronavirus infection.

"We must be ready for vaccination. The state has to decide who will be vaccinated in the first instance, how many patients can be admitted to hospitals per month. And most importantly, how to help medical institutions with vaccinations. After all, such a mass vaccination in the world will be done for the first time," he said.
