Ukrainian Postal Service (UkrPoshta) has warned of possible delays in the delivery of parcels due to the coronavirus outbreak. UkrPoshta has engaged all passenger flights in order to send exports to destinations in Europe and the world for March 14-15. This is stated on its website.
"From March 16, in order to export postal items, UkrPoshta will use alternative means of delivery in a combined way: cargo planes and cars. These changes may cause a slight increase in delivery times, but the company does not have an operational need to limit the reception of exports," the message reads.
Ukraine's Minister of Infrastructure Vladyslav Krykliy added that Ukrainian Postal Service would continue to work in a regular mode.
As we reported earlier, Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has temporarily suspended the appointments with citizens and the visa issuing activity.
"As the quarantine is announced in Ukraine, aiming to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, foreign consulate establishments and consulate departments in the international checkpoints, and the Department of Consulate Service of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine temporarily cease the appointments for citizens and visa issuance since March 14," the statement says.
