Covid-19: Ukraine reports new anti-record, almost 1,200 cases per day

As of July 30, 68,794 cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Ukraine. 1,197 people have been diagnosed with the virus over the last 24 hours which is a new daily anti-record. This was reported on the website of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC).

Since the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic in the country, 1,673 people have died as a result of complications caused by the disease, (+23). However, 38,154 (+760 per day) patients have already recovered.

It should be noted that most of the cases were observed in Kyiv - 199, in Lviv region - 131 and in Rivne region. - 105.

As we reported earlier, Ukraine's Healthcare Minister Maksym Stepanov stated that the mutation of the coronavirus could affect the development of a vaccine.

"It is becoming more vulnerable. Although, from another point of view, it is even more sensitive, we see how it spreads around the world. At the same time, what does the mutation affect? ​​It affects, in particular, the production of the vaccine and its potential ineffectiveness," he said.
