Over the last 24 hours, 9,699 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus infection in Ukraine. This was announced by Health Minister Maksym Stepanov on his Facebook page.
Thus, 1,055,047 cases of Covid-19 have been recorded since the beginning of the pandemic in the country, 709,993 people have managed to recover (+11,803 per day) and 18,533 patients (+209 per day) have succumbed to the disease.
The highest number of cases was recorded in the city of Kyiv (1332), Kyiv (669), Zaporizhia (660), Kharkiv (570), and Odesa (533) oblasts.
As we reported earlier, Ukraine's Deputy Foreign Minister Yevhen Yenin stated that Poland might transfer 1.5 million doses of the coronavirus vaccine to Ukraine.
"The Polish side has once again shown its friendly attitude towards the Ukrainian side by offering us a certain amount of vaccine. This is about 1.5 million doses of vaccines that the Polish side could transfer to the Ukrainian side after receiving the relevant amount of vaccines by Poland itself," stated the official.
