Since the beginning of the pandemic, 355,601 people have been infected with the virus: 6,590 of them have died (+126) and 145,336 (+2,799) have recovered.
According to Health Minister Maksym Stepanov, the Ministry of Health does not have complete information on the number of people who managed to recover from coronavirus.
As we reported earlier, the European Bureau of the World Health Organization (WHO) reported that obese or overweight people were at increased risk of death or severe illness from Covid-19.
The main reason, according to experts, lies in the lack of physical activity and excessive consumption of foods saturated with salt, sodium, sugar, and trans fats. These problems were further exacerbated by forced isolation, as many people stopped exercising. Due to lack of work, some are also forced to save on food.
