COVID-19 outbreak in Ukraine’s Armed Forces: Nine new cases reported

Armed Forces of Ukraine have registered nine new cases of coronavirus infection over the past 24 hours. This was reported on the Facebook page of the Command of the Medical Forces of Ukraine’s Armed Forces.

As 07:00 on April 28, 53 people suffer from acute Covid-19 respiratory disease caused by the Sars-CoV-2 coronavirus. During the pandemic, 18 people have recovered and two – have died.

There are 367 people on isolation (including self-isolation). The number of personnel who are expected to complete the isolation in the next 3 days is 149.

As we reported earlier, Kharkiv military hospital has become the center of coronavirus outbreak

"As of today, 14 cases have been registered. Eight of them are doctors who work there, the ninth is attached, he is on a business trip, and five are servicemen," head of Kharkiv regional state administration Oleksiy Kucher stated.

As of now, there are 9419 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ukraine: 239 of them were lethal, 992 patients recovered.
