Ukraine reports new coronavirus anti-record: 829 cases observed per day

As of the morning of June 18, 34,063 cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Ukraine. 829 cases have reported over the past 24 hours. This was reported on the website of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council.

Since the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic in the country, 966 people have died from complications caused by the disease (23 of them – over the last 24 hours).

This is a new anti-record in terms of incidence: the previous one was set yesterday, on June 17, (758 new cases per day).

However, more than 15 thousand patients have already recovered – according to repeated laboratory tests.

As we reported earlier, Health Minister Maksym Stepanov stated that Ukraine started the talks with the number of countries on the pre-order of the vaccine against coronavirus infection.

“President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky provided a proper order to the competent vice prime minister and foreign ministry to urgently begin the talks with the government of the country, with proper public structures of the country toward the pre-order of this vaccine,” Stepanov stated.
