Academic of the Russian Academy of Sciences Gennadiy Sukhikh stated about the possibility of the coronavirus transmission by sexual activities as Interfax reported.

“The detection of SARS-CoV-2 virus in semen samples of 5% men with active form of infection or in the stage of recovering might point out the possibility of infection transmission by sexual activities; however, this assumption needs further consideration,” Sukhikh stated.
