The coronavirus, which spread is spotted in Zakarpattia, became more aggressive and toxic than in autumn 2020, as Ukrinform reported citing Director of Zakarpattia Center of Pulmonary Disease, Vasyl Skryp.

“The characteristics of the virus that circulates today in our region are other than they were the previous year. Obviously, it is more toxic. More contagious; in other words, people get infected quicker and more than the last year and symptoms are more severe. That is why the number growth very fast. On the basis of it, we might say that the virus has changed its characteristics – unfortunately, it became more aggressive,” Skryp noted.

According to him, if we compare two peaks in November 2020 and the current one, the pictures will be different. Earlier, the critical days started from the seventh-eighth up to the 10th day. Currently, the critical period started on the fifth-sixth day. The asthma of a patient steps forward.
