As of December 4, the number of available hospital beds in Ukraine is twice bigger than the number of hospitalized patients with symptoms of Covid-19. Denys Shmygal, the Prime Minister of Ukraine said so during the briefing on Friday.

"If we compare the situation at the moment of the beginning of quarantine, and what we've got today, we'll see that the number of beds exceeds the number of sick people who are currently at hospitals. Besides, the number of beds with oxygen supplies provides the opportunity to provide medical service to all patients who need them", Shmygal said.

He added that currently, the country's medical system is ready to host and treat all patients.
