Over the last 24 hours, Ukrainian doctors confirmed 5,572 new cases of Covid-19

During the past 24 hours, 286 new Covid-19 cases were observed in Kyiv, as Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported on Telegram.

18 patients died. Totally, Covid-19 took the lives of 2,785 Kyiv citizens.

The number of newly infected includes 158 women (18-97 years old), 106 men (19-90), 12 girls (1-17), and 10 boys (1-16).

103 patients were taken to the hospital. The others are on self-isolation under the supervision of doctors.

As we reported earlier, over the last 24 hours, Ukrainian doctors confirmed 5,572 new cases of Covid-19, including 309 children and 123 healthcare workers.

2,136 people have been taken to hospitals during this period; 106 patients deceased, and 1,734 recovered. 23,227 tests have been taken.

Most of the confirmed cases have been observed in Vinnytsia (578), Zhytomyr (570), Ivano-Frankivsk (508), Lviv (507) and Chernivtsi (447) regions. 

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 1,406,800 people have contracted the disease, 1,198,254 have overcome it, 27,128 - have succumbed to it.
