During the past 24 hours, 1,739 new Covid-19 cases were observed in Kyiv, as Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported on Telegram.

15 patients died. Totally, Covid-19 took the lives of 1,268 Kyiv citizens.

The number of newly infected includes 924 women (18-94 years old), 683 men (18-91), 60 girls (1-17), and 78 boys (1-17).

112 patients were taken to the hospital. The others are on self-isolation under the supervision of doctors.

During the past 24 hours, 346 citizens of Kyiv recovered; totally, 22,663 people overcame the virus.

As we reported earlier, over the last 24 hours, Ukrainian doctors confirmed 16,294 new cases of Covid-19, including 689 children and 631 medics.

1,639 people have been taken to hospitals during this period; 184 patients deceased, and 8,897 recovered. 67,348 tests have been taken.

Most of the confirmed cases have been observed in Kyiv city (1,739), Dnipropetrovsk (1,599), Odesa (1,350), Zaporizhzhia (1,067) and Sumy (1,013) regions. 

709,701 people have got sick since the pandemic began in Ukraine. 12,093 recovered.
