During the past 24 hours, 1,199 new Covid-19 cases were observed in Kyiv, as Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported on Telegram.

14 patients died. Totally, Covid-19 took the lives of 1,123 Kyiv citizens.

The number of newly infected includes 696 women (18-91 years old), 445 men (18-85), 30 girls (1-17), and 28 boys (1-17).

85 patients were taken to the hospital. The others are on self-isolation under the supervision of doctors.

During the past 24 hours, 38 citizens of Kyiv recovered; totally, 20,742 people overcame the virus.

Most of the new cases were observed in Desnyansky (228), Dniprovsky (162), Obolonsky (146).

As we reported earlier, over the last 24 hours, Ukrainian doctors confirmed 12,079 new cases of Covid-19, including 489 children and 375 medics.

1,134 people have been taken to hospitals during this period; 138 patients deceased, and 4,604 recovered. 34,397 tests have been taken.

Most of the confirmed cases have been observed in Kyiv city (1,199), Dnipropetrovsk (1,017), Kyiv (962), Sumy (779) and Zaporizhzhia (765) regions. 

624,744 people have got sick since the pandemic began in Ukraine. 286,917 recovered.
