Ukraine's Foreign Ministry persistently urges citizens to refrain from traveling abroad. The press office of the authority reported that on Thursday, March 12.
"This, first of all, concerns the People's Republic of China, Republic of Korea, Japan, as well as (...) tourist destinations that are popular among Ukrainians - specifically, the Italian Republic, Kingdom of Spain, the French Republic, the Republic of Greece, the Federal Republic of Germany, Egypt, the UAE, the Republic of Turkey, the Kingdom of Thailand, Israeli state and others", reads the message.
Those who are now staying abroad - in the countries where the cases of Covid-19 are registered, are required to show maximum awareness and cautiousness. The Ministry calls on the citizens to abide by the requirements of the local authorities, avoid visiting the dangerous areas and report on their whereabouts to the closest diplomatic institution of Ukraine.
Earlier, Ukraine's Healthcare Ministry officially confirmed two new cases of Chinese coronavirus in this country. This is mentioned on the official Telegram channel of the Ministry.
"Two new cases of coronavirus infection are observed in Ukraine; it's a retired woman from Zhytomyr region and a man from Chernivtsi region whose wife stayed in Italy over the last 14 days", reads the message.
Both patients are isolated, and the symptomatic treatment is underway.
