On September 22, Israeli media reported the daily anti-record in terms of new cases of Covid-19. Ynet and The Jerusalem Post wrote that about 1/3 of these patients are teenagers, all under 19 years old.
"After more than a day of an absence of full and actual updates, Ministry of Healthcare (...) reported that 31 patients with coronavirus passed away over the last 24 hours. The number of diagnosed people makes 6,923 people", Ynet wrote.
Since the epidemic reached Israel, 200,000 people have been diagnosed with Covid-19, which ranked the country 24th in the world in terms of the overall number of the sick.
The government plans to boost the quarantine measures. However, no final decision has been made yet. Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister claimed that the Cabinet would come up with the decision on September 24.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, the daily number of Covid-infected in Ukraine made 3,497. The capital city, Kyiv, and a number of other areas stay in the orange quarantine zone; much of western Ukraine is in the red zone, where even public transport ceased to work.
