Covid-19: Airplane with evacuated Ukrainians to land in Kyiv on February 20

SkyUp airline is the one responsible for the flight

The passenger aircraft will bring back Ukrainian citizens from Chinese Wuhan on February 20. Yevhen Khaynatsky, the director-general of SkyUp airline said so at a briefing. UNN news agency quoted him.

The plane will be performing a flight from Kyiv via Almaty to Wuhan. It will get back to Ukraine on February 20, at about 8 a.m.", he said. The flight number is PQ 7301; Boeing 737-800 will depart from Kyiv on February 19, at 02.50 a.m. Kyiv time.

Earlier, Interior Minister Arsen Avakov reported that the crew will consist of 19 members. That includes six pilots, nine stewards, an engineer, two doctors, and a nurse.

Every passenger that requires an evacuation by the Ukrainian plane will be obliged to sign a document, in which he/she agrees to be isolated for the quarantine after the landing; the document also demands that a person monitors his/her own health conditions. In case of refusal, the person will not be evacuated.

After the aircraft lands in Ukraine, it is supposed to be parked at a sanitary parking lot; then, passengers will pass the border control.

On February 18, residents of the Ternopil region set up the roadblocks and protested against the accommodation of people evacuated from Chinese Wuhan.
