The Court prolonged the restrictive measure for ex-colonel of Ukraine’s Armed Forces Ivan Bezyazykov suspected of espionage in a form of detention for two months, as 112 Ukraine correspondent reported.
The court started summoning the witnesses for the prosecution. One of the fighters from Donbass battalion came into court. In 2014 he was taken prisoner by the militants of the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic as a suspect.
The next session will be held on May 21.
As is was reported earlier, the Ukrainian officer was released from captivity of pro-Kremlin rebels in July. Earlier, Bezyazykov was detained by the SBU, Ukraine’s Security Service, and brought to trial under charges of collaboration with the militants.
