The court is asked to ban Verkhovna Rada Chairman Dmytro Razumkov from signing a law on opening a land market. The press service of the District Administrative Court of Kyiv reported that.

"The plaintiff, in particular, asks the court to secure the claim to prohibit the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada and any of the individual MPs and employees of the parliament’s apparatus from committing any laws aimed at signing the Law" On Amending Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Concerning the Turnover of Agricultural Land ", adopted on March 31 , his direction for signature to the president and the subsequent official publication of the law," the statement said.

Now the District Administrative Court of Kyiv is deciding whether there are legal grounds for taking measures to secure the claim.

As we reported, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a committee bill on the opening of the agricultural land market No. 2178-10. 259 MPs voted to pass the bill.

The parliament began considering amendments to this draft law (there were 4,018 of them) on February 6.
