Police receive calls on "planted mines" in Odesa court

Yesterday, December 29, the Police received calls on planted mines in Malynovskyi District Court in Odesa two times over the day, reports the press office of the National Police in Odesa region. 

‘Explosive devices and materials were not found during the check of the court building and the adjacent territory,’ reads the message. 

The institution resumed its work. The Police establish the identity of the caller.

As we reported earlier, the law enforcers have detained the man who said he allegedly “mined” Odesa’s two major objects in two minutes. 

On Monday, December 24, the 102 service received two anonymous calls on the wiring of Pryvoz bus station and Odesa Railway Station, both from the same number. Both objects were carefully examined by specialists. No explosive devices or substances were found.

At the same time, the police started searching for the person who provided the false information. During the investigative actions, the personnel of Odesa Police and the SBU office in Odesa region detained the man suspected of having committed the abovementioned misdemeanor. The 25-year-old citizen pleaded guilty.
