President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky claims he received information that coup d'etat is being prepared in the country. The assumed date is December 1. He said so during the the press conference timed to the "equator" of his time in office.
"We have a word from the intelligence that a coup d'etat is to take place on December 1. Russians prepare to get [oligarch Rinat] Akhmetov involved in it; according to the Russians, he is ready to join", Zelensky said.
As is known, Zelensky gathered a press conference in Kyiv on November 26. 30 media representatives were invited to cover the event.
Meanwhile, reporters of the illegally closed TV channels (112 Ukraine, NewsOne, ZiK and Pershiy Nezalezhniy) rally against the policy of censorship conducted by President Volodymyr Zelensky. The rally took place next to the building that hosts the event.
The press conference featured only 30 media representatives. However, currently, there are also dozens of reporters from outlets that were not invited to the event, including 112 Ukraine, NewsOne, ZiK and Pershiy Nezalezhniy. According to the witnesses, the guards have been quite harsh on the reporters; they cut out the reporter of Strana.ua outlet, as he tried to film the huge motorcade of the president.
