Coronavirus pandemic mortality rate drops in Spain

In Spain,  a downward trend in mortality from the coronavirus pandemic is observed, as El Pais Spanish news agency writes.

As of today, the number of new infections and the number of new deaths are the lowest since the outbreak of coronavirus.

In particular, over the past day, 517 deaths were recorded. Before this, as of  April 12, 619 deaths were recorded per day.

Thus, these data indicate a decrease in the mortality trend since April 2, when the number of deaths per day was 950 people.

As of April 13, 169,496 cases of coronavirus infection were recorded in Spain. During the pandemic, 17,489 people died and 64,727 people successfully recovered.

As we reported before, Healthcare Minister of Ukraine Maksym Stepanov stated that 85 medics infected with Covid-19 coronavirus during the past 24 hours

“During the last 24 hours, in the territory of Ukraine, according to the laboratory centers, 325 cases were confirmed by polymerase chain reaction analysis, including 12 children and 85 medical workers,” Stepanov said.

Also, as of April 13, 3,102 cases of Covid-19 spotted in Ukraine. 93 people died, while 97 recovered. 325 cases were confirmed during the past 24 hours.
