The global pandemic of the coronavirus may end by June if countries mobilize to fight it as Reuters reported citing senior Chinese medical adviser.

As it is known, the pandemic is the spread of the new disease on the world scale. In other words, when the new virus appears and the majority of people do not have immunity against it, the disease quickly spreads all over the world.

The medical adviser noted that China has passed the peak of infections and the new cases in Hubei declined to single digits. As it is known, about two-thirds of the cases of infection with coronavirus in the world are spotted in the central province Huber, where the virus appeared for the first time in December 2019. But during the last weeks, the majority of the new cases were spotted outside China.

The Chinese authorities believe that they assumed strict measures, including almost complete isolation of Hubei, in this way, they prevented large outbreaks in other cities. Besides, the government of China urges other countries to do the same and take a leaf from China.

“Broadly speaking, the peak of the epidemic has passed for China. The increase of new cases is falling,” spokesman for the National Health Commission Mi Feng said.

Zhong Nanshan, the government’s senior medical adviser, stated that if countries will treat the outbreak seriously and will be ready to assume firm measures, the outbreak will finish in the world during a few months.

“My advice is calling for all countries to follow WHO instructions and intervene on a national scale. If all countries could get mobilized, it could be over by June,” he said.

Earlier, WHO announced the world coronavirus pandemic. WHO has conducted outbreak assessments around the clock and is concerned about the alarming rate of spread and complexity of the disease, as well as the level of inactivity.

As we reported, the Kyiv state administration introduced a ban on holding mass events in the capital with the participation of more than 60 people until March 31 due to the spread of coronavirus.
