In Kyiv, an outbreak of coronavirus was recorded at the Darnytsia boarding school for girls: 81 people got infected, both students and staff of the boarding school. This was stated by Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko during an urgent online briefing. The broadcast was provided by 112 Ukraine TV channel.
The institution is under quarantine. The measures for enhanced disinfection and medical examination are being conducted. Rescuers and police are on duty, securing the entrance to the territory.
"Today, 81 people were diagnosed with the disease at the Darnytsya boarding school for girls. An outbreak started with a sick female worker. After that, all students and staff of the institution were tested by PCR-method. 182 people protested," Klitschko said.
As we reported earlier, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko, the capital of Ukraine may return to the strict quarantine again.
“Concerning the opening of large shopping malls – it will be the second wave of lifting of the restrictions. And we will rely only on the incidence statistics. If the outbreak of the infection occurs against we may return to the strict quarantine,” he said.
