Italy remains the leader in mortality, while Spain has surpassed China

As of March 26, over 470,000 cases of infection with the coronavirus Covid-19 were registered in the world. Johns Hopkins Center stated the relevant data.

It is noted that 21,276 people died from a coronavirus pandemic in the world. The number of recovered people is 114,000.

Italy remains the leader in mortality from Covid-19, there are 7,503 deaths were registered there. On the second place is Spain, where the virus took the lives of 3,647 people. After Spain comes China with 3,169 deceased.

Regarding recorded cases: China is still in the first place with 81,727 infected. Italy is placed second - 74,386 people. The third place in terms of the number of infected Covid-19 takes the United States - 69,194 people. Spain follows the U.S. with 49,515 cases.

More than 114,000 people in the world recovered, of which 61,000 in China, 9,600 in Iran, 9,300 in Italy and 5,700 people in Spain. At the same time, only 394 people overcame the disease in the United States.

Earlier, Ukraine's Ministry of Health reported 156 cases of Covid-19. Over the last 24 hours, 43 new cases have been identified. The disease took the lives of 5 people in Ukraine.
