The gas pipeline to the city of Avdiivka in Donetsk region is fully ready for testing. This was reported on the Facebook page by the head of Donetsk Regional Administration Pavlo Zhebrivsky.
"In the morning I visited the construction of the Avdiivka gas pipeline, the situation is as follows: yesterday we completed the welding of joints and laying of pipes, and the gas pipeline is ready for testing," Zhebrivsky said.
He noted that since the morning of January 13, the pipeline was pumped with a special ingredient to check the quality of welding.
"They will pump up to 7.5 atmospheres in stages, it takes a day, then at 7.5 atmospheres the pipe will be checked by the specialists of a technical supervision - for three hours this pressure should be kept, after that the pressure is lowered to 6 atmospheres and again fixed, checked and sealed. After that it will be possible to completely cover the pipe," he added.
According to Zhebrivsky, after that gas will be pumped into the pipeline and it will start work. He also said that he ordered all necessary documentation to be made in parallel, so as not to delay the process of connecting houses.
