It is noted that the Constitutional Court has received a constitutional submission of 48 MPs regarding Ukraine’s compliance with certain provisions of the law "On Amending Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Concerning the Conditions for the Turnover of Agricultural Land."

As we reported earlier, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a committee bill on the opening of the agricultural land market No. 2178-10. 259 MPs voted to pass the bill.

The parliament began considering amendments to this draft law (there were 4,018 of them) on February 6.

According to the law, ordinary Ukrainians can become land market participants.

Legal entities, directly founded by citizens of Ukraine, the state, and territorial communities shall become land sale market participants only since 2024.

However, the process was quite scandalous.
