Against the background of the conflict with Azerbaijan in Nagorno-Karabakh, the Armenian government announced military mobilization, banning men of military age from leaving the country. This became known from the message of Sputnik Armenia.

"We inform you that in accordance with the decision 1585N, adopted by the Armenian government on September 27, 2020, the call for persons under 55 has been announced," the Civil Aviation Committee reported.

It is noted that male citizens aged 18 to 55 are allowed to travel outside the country only with the written permission of the territorial military commissariats.

As we reported before, Azerbaijani government ordered a partial mobilization due to the worsening situation on the contact line in Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone.

The document takes effect on the day it was signed. 

Recently, martial law was introduced in Azerbaijan, due to the complicated miltary situation.
