Six coal mines of Lvivvuhillya state-run enterprise are back online, as they have been plugged to the power grid again. The press office of Ukraine's Ministry for Energy and Environment Protection reported that on December 23.
The temporary shutdown took place on late December 22 and lasted until Monday morning.
"The shutdown is due to the demand for early payment by the "last chance supplier" of the local district's network. At the same time, the enterprise has debts for the loaded coal - in October, November and December", reads the message.
Currently, the mines are working under a normal schedule.
