The farewell ceremony takes place in Kerch in occupied Crimea. Thousands came to the building of the local polytechnical college to pay tribute to the victims of the recent mass murder. Krym.Realii reported this on Friday noon.

As 112 International reported earlier, an 18-year-old student opened fire inside the college's building, killing 21 and wounding over 50 people. Fifteen died instantly, the rest passed away later at a hospital.

Seventeen caskets were brought onto the city's central square. One of the deceased will be buried according to a Muslim tradition, without the casket. The remaining victims will rest in other localities of the annexed peninsula and in Russia.

The streets were shut off and the traffic limited, respectively. The local authorities announced a three-days-long mourning for the victims of the tragedy.

The very first reports on the tragedy that occurred on Thursday said that an explosion thundered at a college in Kerch, the town in Russian-occupied Crimea.
