In particular, foreigners visited Ukraine by land 21,5 million times. Thus, there were 6,3 million border crossings with the EU countries, about 80% of which – with Poland. In addition, 7,9 million were recorded with Moldova, 4,5 million – with Belarus, 2,8 million – with Russia.
In addition, foreigners passed passport control at airports 5,5 million times, and at the sea border – 265,000.
The number of visits from Russia decreased by 7% over the previous year, Kazakhstan and the Netherlands – by 9%, Hungary – by 10%, Belarus and Spain – by 13%, Slovakia – by 14%, Bangladesh – by 21%.
Meanwhile, the number of tourists from Denmark has doubled. Visits from Austria and Belgium increased by 27%, Lithuania –24%, Luxembourg – 20%, Croatia – 16%, Cyprus – 15%.
As we reported earlier, Ukraine has signed the visa-free agreements with Mongolia and Argentina as Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk reported it on his Telegram page.
“The government approved two protocols between the government of Ukraine and governments of Mongolia and Argentina, which provides the increase of term of visa-free stay of citizens of Ukraine in the territory of two countries twice,” Honcharuk wrote.
