The terrorist attack in Barcelona claimed lives of citizens of 18 countries. AFP reported that with reference to the local governmental authorities.

The news agency did not specify the countries, where the attack’s victims come from.

According to Ukraine’s Consul General in Barcelona Oksana Dramaretska, there are no Ukrainian citizens among the deceased and injured.

As is known, a truck ran over the crowd of people at La Rambla boulevard in Barcelona on Thursday. At least 13 people deceased, over a hundred were wounded in the tragedy. The truck’s driver fled the scene, accompanied by a group of sidekicks and later that day captured hostages at a local restaurant. The police stormed the restaurant and arrested two suspects; however, the driver is still at large.

The Spanish government officially claimed the tragedy a terrorist act; later that day, the ISIS took responsibility for the attack.
