The city of Chernivtsi, western Ukraine, hosted one of Ukraine’s largest Christmas trees this year. The 30-meter-high green beauty grew in the forests of Bukovyna region. According to Chernivtsi city hall, it came to the top three of the highest Chritsmas trees around Ukraine.
The Christmas tree set in Khmelnytsky city, central Ukraine, is rather unusual by construction. The half-live, half-artificial tree consists of 380 smaller trees; it is 26 meters high.
70 year-old tree was set in Rivne, northwestern Ukraine; it is 25 meters high.
As 112 International reproted, Ukraine's main Christmas tree was lit in Kyiv on December 19; many cities of the country followed the lead.
