In Russia, a Chinese woman with symptoms of ARVI was removed from the train, which was heading from Kyiv to Moscow. This was reported by the press service of Ukrainian Railways (Ukrzaliznytsia).
"According to the preliminary information, a passenger with symptoms of respiratory disease was found while passing customs and border control at the Suzemka (the Russian Federation – ed.) railway station. In order to eliminate suspicion of coronavirus, a train carriage, in which the Chinese woman was sitting, was unhitched at the Bryansk station," the message reads.
The main railway truck arrived at the final destination - the city of Moscow. However, it will eventually return to Kyiv. Ukrainian Railways states that it has sent an official request to Russia for providing the information on the incident.
It is currently being decided on how to return the train to Ukraine and what sanitary measures should be taken.
As we reported earlier, according to the information that was provided by Ukraine's Minister of Internal Affairs and Minister of Health, all citizens of Ukraine, which were evacuated from the Wuhan, China, are healthy.
