Hoshenshan Hospital, designed for 1,000 beds, will start taking patients on Monday. They will be treated by 1,400 military doctors.
Construction of the hospital began in the evening of January 23 and was carried out at an accelerated pace.
The second hospital, also located in Wuhan, is expected to begin operations on February 6.
