In Armyansk, the North of annexed Crimea, the evacuation of the children due to the emission of the unknown substance has begun. Refat Chubarov, the Chairman of the Crimean Tatars’ Mejlis claimed this as 112 Ukraine reported.

In the response to the question about the toxic substances, Chubarov said:

“Some experts do not exclude that the chemical warfare agents of the Russian Army could be stored at the territory of the Crimean plant “Tytan” or some kind of testing of these chemical warfare agents could take place there. We think that the most objective information can appear only if the representatives of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons will be allowed there. We think that the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine should invite such organization.”

Earlier Permanent Representative of the President in Crimea Borys Babin claimed that such situation appeared due to the work of three enterprises on the chemical industry.

“This situation appeared not yesterday or a few days ago; it lasts because of three enterprises on the chemical industry work in illegally occupied Crimea: plant “Tytan”, bromine and sodium carbonate plants. They, in the terms of sanctions, predatory behavior of the occupants to the resources and population, increased the emissions. It is connected to the low quality of the raw material, problems with the equipment, to the fact that the western enterprises do not cooperate with them and to the violation of the production cycle,” Babin said.
