The State Commission on Environmental Safety, Manmade Disaster and Emergency Response removed Chernivtsi region from the "red" zone of epidemiological danger at an extraordinary meeting on Wednesday, Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Oleh Nemchinov said.
"The State Commission decided to cancel the 'red' level of the epidemic danger of the spread of Covid-19 in Chernivtsi region from 00:00 on April 22, 2021 and apply restrictive anti-epidemic measures on the territory of Chernivtsi region, provided for the 'yellow' level of epidemic danger," Nemchinov wrote in the Telegram channel.
Meanwhile, 40 people have died in the UK after being vaccinated with Pfizer, while 22 people have died after being vaccinated with AstraZeneca. This is evidenced by data released by the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change.
"We can compare AstraZeneca and Pfizer to see the results. The UK is in a unique position to do this because it is the only country that has deployed both vaccines in the same quantities on a scale," it said.
So, according to the published data, the first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine was received by 20.6 million people, and Pfizer - by 11 million people. The second dose of vaccine AstraZeneca and Pfizer was received by 1 million and 4.4 million, respectively.
