The Cherkasy region will pass to the “red” zone of the adaptive quarantine on November 12. The State Commission on Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergencies made such a decision as Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Oleh Nemchynov reported on Telegram.
"The state commission decided to establish from 00:00 on November 12, 2021, the" red "level of epidemic danger in the Cherkasy region," Nemchynov wrote.
Nemchynov recalled that the work of catering establishments, shopping and entertainment centers, non-food markets and shops, and holding mass events are prohibited in the "red" zone. However, the restrictions will not apply if 100% of employees and visitors to establishments are vaccinated.
Besides, for fully vaccinated citizens, the restrictions set for interregional transport will not apply.
As we reported, 19,988 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Ukraine during the past 24 hours. Particularly, 1,183 children and 426 medics got infected.
Besides, 17 regions are in the “red” zone, two regions are in the “yellow” zone in Ukraine as of November 9.
