Chemical spill in Ros River: Commission to establish further actions

Preliminarily, the experts did not detect the massive fish death on the water surface

The commission on man-made environmental disasters and emergency will work today in Bila Tserkva. Further actions will be established on the results of the analyzes taken by State Service on Food Safety as 112 Ukraine reported, citing Spokesperson of Emergency Service in Kyiv region Viktoria Ruban.

“Today, in Bila Tserkva, the commission will be held; during it, on the results of the analyzes taken by State Service on Food Safety, the further actions will be established,” she said.

Preliminarily, the experts did not detect the massive fish death on the water surface. The police officers hold the check. There has been no smell of the dead fish.

Ruban added that Bila Tserkva will be provided with water as there are 10 artesian deep wells and the water will be brought to the local citizens.

As we reported an accident occurred in the Zbarzhevka village of Vinnytsia region. During the transportation of an unknown agricultural chemical, the car fell into a tributary of the Ros River. 

Earlier the hot water supply was cut off in Rivne due to public debt. It is reported by the press service of LLC Rivneteploenergo on Facebook.
