Two Ukrainian women died and another one was hospitalized in serious condition in Silesian Voivodeship

Car accident which occurred in the Czech Republic on November 12, 2018

A car ran over three citizens of Ukraine at the crosswalk in Silesian Voivodeship, in Poland. Two victims died as a result of the car accident, as Polske Radio reported.

“The car accident took place in the evening, at the well-lit crosswalk. The women crossing the road were hit by the Hyundai Tucson car. According to the police, after the hit, one of the women fell in the gutter, another one appeared to be at the other side of the roadway, and the third fell under the wheels of Volkswagen car, which was moving behind Hyundai Tucson,” the message said.

It is noted that two victims died at the site, and the third one was hospitalized. Now, it is known that all of them are the citizens of Ukraine.

It is reported that a driver of Hyundai Tucson was sober. Also, a sample of his blood was taken to figure out whether he was drugged.

The Ukrainian side has not commented on the information about deadly car accident yet.

On November 13, Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry confirmed the information about the death of four Ukrainians in a car accident in the Czech Republic. Earlier, it was reported that Mercedes minibus with five Zakarpattia residents collided with a truck in the Czech Republic. As a result, four Zakarpattia residents died, one woman was hospitalized in a critical condition.
