The daily number of those infected with coronavirus in Ukraine will be growing considerably. In the next few months, it is expected at the rate of 7-9,000 cases every day. Head of the WHO in Ukraine Jarno Habicht said so in an interview with Suspline.

"In the coming months, we expect that the number of cases will be exceed 5,000 and could be making fro, 7,000 to 9,000 every day. In this context, we also witness more and more cases in Europe", Habicht said.

He added that currently, such growth is observed in all countries, because the illness's spread has not been curtailed yet.

"The passage of the virus is still taking place within communities in Ukraine. We did not narrow the passage down to cluster spread of the disease (across social connections: famiy, school class, workers of the same department, - 112 International), which is observed in many countries. Our research shows that only every fourth individual washes his/her hands. We also see that every third person ingores physical distance principle, when visiting various events", Habicht said.
