Buta Airways launches Baku-Lviv flight

Azerbaijani low-cost airline Buta Airways launched flights to Lviv on Monday. The budget carrier's flights will be operated on the Baku-Lviv route, the Center for Transport Strategies reports.

On December 23, 115 passengers opened the new flight. During the winter, this flight will take off on Mondays and Thursdays, with a minimum one-way fare of 29 euros.

Previously, Azal Airlines' liners were flying from Baku to Lviv and back, but they were not carried out during the winter season.

"This year, the airline has decided to change its policies and outsource its operations to its subsidiary Buta Airways," the statement said.

As we reported earlier, Ryanair air company plans to increase the passenger traffic at Ukrainian flights by 33% in 2020 as Chief Commercial Officer David O’Brien of the company stated.

Ryanair plans to transfer over 2.1 million of passengers at Ukrainian flights in 2020.

According to O’Brien, 18 routes to be opened in Ukraine in 2020, including two new. The issue is about Lviv-Budapest and Kharkiv-Warsaw flights. The flights will take place twice a week. Totally, 43 routes will work in Ukraine in 2020.
