Bus with migrants overturns in Turkey, 16 people injured, others flee

A bus carrying illegal immigrants overturned in Turkey, 16 people were injured and other fled, TRT News reports.

"The minibus number 34 EKD 628 lost control near the village of Tashlimusellim, went off the road and overturned in the field. 16 people, including one driver, were injured in the accident, they were taken to various hospitals in the city," the statement reads.

It is noted that the minibus left Istanbul and was going to Bulgaria, there were more than 30 migrants in it. Those who were not injured in the accident fled the scene.

One of the victims is in a serious condition. The condition of others is not reported.

As it was reported, a terrible road accident took place in Bulgaria, 45 people died, including 12 children. All passengers of the bus are citizens of Northern Macedonia, where it was headed from Turkey.
