A bus with children got into an accident in Nizhyn area in Chernihiv. According to Serhii Bryl, Representative of the Directorate-General of the National Police, as a result of the accident, eight people injured, Novyi Chernihiv reports.

The accident took place near Mala Koshelivka village around 11:00 a.m. A bus with a group of rowers and their relatives turned over on the way.  They were headed to a tournament from Konotop city to Kyiv.

As of now, eight people including four children are hospitalized to Nizhyn regional hospital. It is stated that three adults and one child are in serious condition in the intensive care.

Reportedly, Honda collided with a shuttle bus in Odessa region. As a result of the accident one person deceased, seven injured.

As we reported on May 31 the road accident in Kyiv took place; 13-year-old bicyclist suffered severe injuries after the police car ran over him. The accident took place at about 9 p.m., with Volkswagen running over a boy who was driving the bicycle. The kid sustained injuries and was taken to a hospital.

The crowd encircled the car, trying to get the driver out of there; however, 'the police took him for a medical examination to check the alcohol level in his blood', the reporter said.

The criminal investigation on the road traffic violation commenced.

Earlier it was reported a car from the motorcade of Ukrainian leader Petro Poroshenko mowed down a bicyclist but the administration of the president belied this information.
