From October 1 until November 30, 2020, the citizens of Ukraine will need the certificate with a negative PCR test against Covid-19. The tests should be made in 72 hours before the crossing of the border as the Embassy of Ukraine to Bulgaria reported.
“On September 30, 2020, the decision was renewed of the Health Ministry of the Republic of Bulgaria on the temporary ban of the entrance to the territory of the country #RD-01-547, according to which, from October 1 until November 2020, the citizens of Ukraine are allowed to enter the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria with the certificate that shows the negative result of PCR testing for Covid-19 that should be made in 72 hours until the crossing of the border,” the message said.
Besides, the certificate should include data of the tourist in accordance with the foreign passport of the citizen of Ukraine, information about the laboratory that made a test. Besides, the document should PCR test and the negative result should be written in the Latin alphabet.
The government amended the rules of entry for foreigners to Ukraine during the lockdown. Regulation #888 dated September 28, 2020. Thus, during the quarantine, the crossing of the state border is banned for foreigners or stateless persons without insurance policy (the insurance company should be registered in Ukraine or should have the representative’s office in Ukraine), which might cover expenses for treatment of Covid-19 and observation.
